City Investing Ltd.

Originally a US venture, City Investing, Ltd. was acquired by Clyde Petroleum and Clasecuador. City Investing's stake was sold to Canada's Pacalta Resources (NASDAQ: PAZZF). In early 1999 Pacalta Resources was acquired by it's larger Canadian peer, Alberta Energy Company (NYSE: AOG).

City Investing, Ltd., became one of only two new investments that Clyde Petroleum undertook in the early 80s.

This firm, currently property of the Canadian interest Alberta Energy, still has an important presence in the Ecuadorian North East (Amazon Jungle) with an exploitation and exploration participation agreement near the region known as Cuyabeno.
